Nobody signed up to hand-enter 99 speaker bios. It's the least glamorous part of building an event app, and it eats hours you just don't have.
Today we're fixing it for Highbar.ai customers.
The problem with manual profiles
Every conference hits the same bottleneck. You have a list of speakers and sponsors. Each one needs a headshot, a bio, a title, a company, social links, session details. Multiply that by 100 people and you're doing data entry instead of running your event. Even 10 can be a heavy lift with endless back and forth communication over minute details.
And the details are never right for long. A bio goes stale. A logo comes in low-res. A title changed last week and nobody told you. You become the single point of failure for content only the speaker or sponsor actually has.

The fix: self-service profiles you still control (or not)
Now speakers and sponsors fill out their own profiles. You send a link. They do the work. You review every change before it goes live.
That last part is really key. Self-service usually means giving up control, but not in this case. Nothing publishes until you approve it, on a field-by-field basis.
If you decide that you want to give your speakers or sponsors control and auto-approve their edits, you can do that as well and save yourself even more time.

What's included
→ Send speakers or sponsors a link to edit their own profiles.
→ Bulk invites, reminders, or individual magic links.
→ Get an email notification whenever changes are submitted.
→ Approve or reject updates field by field, all tracked.
Speakers and sponsors get an editing page built for them. You get a review queue built for you.
